Good posture is important to your long-term playing ability, so we focus on correct body positioning techniques. We can provide you with numerous different exercises to help you easily develop your piano playing skills without physical discomfort or repetitive strain injury
We help you develop your listening skills so you can appreciate the tone and beauty of the music. Incorporating this technique into your lessons, helps you to reproduce what you hear by simply using your own fingers
From your very first lesson, our goal is to help you achieve your piano-playing independence. We work to help you build your self-confidence by developing your creative playing ability. We have a set plan to help you accomplish this personal skill
We provide a clear and concise homework plan. This is designed to help you develop your piano-playing skills and includes a specific number of repetitions. You’ll discover a unique and effective system that helps you to stay focused during your practise sessions. Our aim is to ensure you enjoy your practise sessions as you quickly and easily progress through the course
We encourage you to perform as part of a piano performing community. We organise at least 3 concerts a year for you to take part in, all of which are professionally recorded on video. If you would like to play in a duet with a friend then we can arrange this for you. We also offer half-term workshops and extra weekend group classes on composition, improvisation or theory
Our in-depth theory is linked directly to practise sessions. Learning how play what you learn to write, opens up a whole new and exciting musical world, in which you are able to see and understand the complete picture
